Ben Wei

Ben Wei is a Software Engineering Manager at Google since October 2023, leading a team focused on performance optimization for Google Pixel devices and defining software strategies for core OS components. Previously, Ben served as a Principal Software Architect at NVIDIA for a brief period in 2023, where leadership in developing the OOB management software stack for the B200 AI infrastructure was showcased. From September 2021 to April 2023, Ben worked at Google as a Staff Software Engineer, managing a team of engineers and driving the technical strategy for the OpenBMC server management stack. Prior experience includes a similar role at Meta, where Ben led the architecture and development of OpenBMC firmware for Meta's server fleet and a position as a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services, focusing on Linux-based OS for SDN infrastructure. Ben Wei possesses a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MS in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University.
