Benjamin Ackerman has extensive experience in cybersecurity and aerospace engineering. At Google, from November 2021 to April 2023, Benjamin served as a Principal Security Analyst in Trust & Safety, leading a team focused on mitigating the risks posed by malicious Chrome extensions. Prior to this role, Benjamin was a Senior Analyst in the same division, working to enhance Chrome's security through malware detection using Google's data resources. Benjamin is currently a Product Manager for Chrome Security at Google, starting in April 2023. Earlier in the career, Benjamin worked at Space Exploration Technologies as an Aerodynamics Engineer from June 2009 to September 2014, where significant contributions included serving as the Dragon V2 Development Lead and developing analytical tools for vehicle performance using advanced computational methods. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California.
