Benoit Seguin has extensive experience in computer science and data analysis, including positions at prestigious institutions and companies. Beginning with a visiting student role at Carnegie Mellon University in 2011, Benoit has held various roles, including internships at IBM Switzerland, research engineer at EPFL, and lecturer at ETH Zürich. As a PhD student at EPFL, Benoit developed innovative approaches to digitizing art historical photo-archives using deep learning. Benoit has also served as Chief Technology Officer for ArtBeat.ai and most recently as a Senior Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer at Google from August 2022 to November 2023. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from EPFL, as well as an engineering degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Ecole polytechnique.
