Bernardo Quintero

Bernardo Quintero is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security engineering and technology entrepreneurship. As a co-founder of HISPASEC SISTEMAS S.L. from 1998 to September 2012, Bernardo laid the groundwork for a career focused on cybersecurity. In June 2004, Bernardo founded VirusTotal, significantly impacting the threat intelligence landscape. Bernardo held the position of founder at Chronicle from January 2018 to July 2019, after serving as a security engineering manager and subsequently rising to roles including security engineering manager III and security engineering director at Google from April 2012 to August 2019. Bernardo also contributed as a security engineering manager at X, the moonshot factory from 2015 to 2018.
