Beth Tsai

Beth Tsai is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy, safety, and stakeholder relations. At Google, Beth served as Director of GenAI Safety Policy in Trust & Safety, overseeing safety strategies for advanced AI models and products. Prior to this role, Beth was the Global Policy Lead for Google Assistant, Lens, and AR products, facilitating the launch of major Google initiatives. Beth's earlier experience includes a directorial role at OLG, where management of political relationships contributed to significant annual profits for the Province of Ontario. Additional positions held include Senior Economic Policy Advisor at the Ontario Women's Directorate and Counsel in Criminal Law Policy at the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. Beth holds both a Master of Arts in Criminology and a Doctor of Law from the University of Toronto.
