Bo Sun is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in database systems and machine learning infrastructure. Prior to joining Google as a Staff Software Engineer in November 2018, Bo held the position of Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle from March 2015 to January 2018, focusing on RDBMS kernel development and query processing improvements. Bo's tenure at Google includes roles ranging from Software Engineer, working on database and search infrastructure, to building a data platform for machine learning and AI that addresses the challenges of training and inference at scale.
