Brandon Hughes

Brandon Hughes is a seasoned mechanical engineer and technical program manager with extensive experience in product design, mechanical systems, and engineering management. Starting as a research assistant at Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2006, Brandon progressed to significant roles including a senior mechanical engineer at Motorola, where responsibilities included new product introduction and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Previous internships at the Naval Surface Warfare Center and Mainstream Engineering Corporation provided foundational knowledge in chemical and biological defense as well as waste reduction technologies. At Rockwell Collins, Brandon contributed to military fighter jet display platforms as a primary mechanical engineer. Currently serving as a mechanical technical program manager at Google since 2019, Brandon holds an Associate of Science from Northwest Missouri State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology.
