Brandon Li is a co-founder at a stealth startup since December 2025, currently also serving as an incoming software engineering intern at Google, focusing on YouTube video player experience. Previously, Brandon gained experience as a software engineering intern at VideoLAN, where multiple C/C++ video filters for VLC Media Player were developed, utilizing the Segment Anything Model 2 and OpenCV for video object segmentation. Prior to VideoLAN, Brandon worked as a software developer intern at Halvex Inc., designing a MongoDB-based TypeScript RESTful API and launching a Discord bot. Additionally, Brandon mentored Java programming at Chelmsford Chinese Language School, raising significant funds for the institution during the pandemic. Brandon is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at UCLA, expected to graduate in 2027, after completing high school at Concord-Carlisle Regional High School.
