Brendan Jackman is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in embedded systems and firmware development. At Blu Wireless Technology Ltd, Brendan worked as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on high-performance layer-2 firmware for 60GHz/mm-wave wireless networks from December 2017 to September 2019. Prior to that, Brendan completed an industrial placement at ARM, where contributions included embedded software, device drivers, and benchmarking, followed by a role in power performance development and testing for the Linux kernel scheduler. Since October 2019, Brendan has been a Staff Software Engineer at Google, initially leading a tech team for a BPF-based security telemetry agent and currently exploring mitigation strategies for CPU vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel.
