Brian George has extensive experience in energy market policy and economics, with a career spanning positions at various influential organizations. Starting as a Research Assistant for Robert Fienberg, PhD, in 2012, Brian George pursued advanced education at American University, earning a Master of Arts in Economics. Brian George's professional tenure includes roles as an Economist and Technical Advisor at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, a Senior Policy Advisor at API, and a Senior Manager at the Environmental Defense Fund. Subsequently, Brian George served as Senior Director of Strategic Policy and Government Affairs at the Electric Power Supply Association. Currently, Brian George holds the position of Senior Lead for U.S. Energy Markets at Google, focusing on global energy market development and policy, while bringing expertise in wholesale electricity market issues to the Washington DC-Baltimore area.
