Brian Howell

Brian Howell is a seasoned Security and Risk Management leader with over 20 years of experience. They began their career as a Police Officer in Law Enforcement from 2003 to 2006, and subsequently served as Security Director at Mastercard from 2006 to 2014. After that, they held the position of Security Director at Bread Financial until 2017, moving on to become Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at a Start Up Company for a brief period in 2017. They then worked in Strategic Operations - M&A Security Services at Cognizant from 2018 to 2021, and served as Director of Global Security at Block until 2025. Currently, Brian is a Security Leader at Google, focusing on enterprise risk mitigation and strategy to enable business at hyper-scale.
