Brian Hu is a seasoned software engineer currently working at Google on the Search team. Brian's experience includes internships as a software developer at Squarepoint Capital and DRW, along with a full-stack developer role at CloudOps, where significant improvements in database performance were achieved. As an undergraduate research assistant at the Data-Intensive Storage and Computer Systems Lab, Brian's work on NoSQL systems design contributed to a notable increase in data analytics performance. Prior to these roles, Brian gained teaching experience as a swim instructor and a teaching assistant at Kumon North America, Inc., and provided peer tutoring as a Helpdesk Tutor for the McGill Computer Science Undergraduate Society. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from McGill University, achieving a perfect GPA of 4.0, after completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Colonel By Secondary School.
