Brian Lester is an accomplished quantum scientist with extensive research experience in prestigious institutions. Brian began academic pursuits at Caltech, earning a B.S. degree in 2010, before obtaining a PhD from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2016. Brian's research career includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Colorado Boulder and Yale University, respectively. Brian has held significant positions at Atom Computing, including Principal Quantum Engineer, Technical Lead, and Senior Quantum Engineer, before joining Google as a Quantum Research Scientist in April 2022. Brian also contributed to summer research at UC Berkeley and served as an Undergraduate Researcher at the California Institute of Technology.
