Brian Moffat is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in developing and maintaining distributed systems. At Amazon, from 2013 to 2015, Brian designed and implemented systems used globally to enhance operational efficiency in Fulfillment Centers. Brian also contributed to the development of a new workflow design and has held roles at Google as a Software Engineer 2 from 2016 to 2019 and currently as a Software Engineer 3 since October 2019. Earlier experiences include co-op positions at the Department of Justice Canada, WorldReach Software, and IBM Cognos, focusing on testing and internal systems. Brian holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Carleton University, where teaching assistant responsibilities were also undertaken.
