Callie Shenker

Callie Shenker is an experienced economist with a strong focus on public policy and competition analysis. With a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the University of Cape Town, Callie has held significant positions at the BBC as a Senior Economist, where analytic support was provided for regulatory and public policy matters. At RBB Economics, Callie worked as a Senior Associate, advising on market dynamics. Currently, as a Policy Specialist at Google, Callie leads compliance efforts related to competition and consumer protection laws globally, following a tenure as Policy Manager focusing on public policy in Europe. Additional prior experience includes roles at SALDRU as a Research Assistant and at the University of Cape Town as an Economics Lecturer and Tutor.
