Calvin Westrick

Calvin Westrick is a seasoned professional with a strong background in software engineering and data science, highlighted by diverse experiences in astrophysics research, satellite technology, and machine learning. Calvin began as an Astrophysics Research Intern at the University of Chicago, focusing on advanced data analysis methods before becoming a Satellite Research and Development Intern at the University of Minnesota. Calvin later founded Touch Space, leading innovative projects in high-altitude balloon technology. As a Software Engineering Contractor at ITR Economics, Calvin developed critical algorithms for time series analysis. At Wavicle Data Solutions, Calvin held titles as Data Scientist and Principal Data Scientist, specializing in NLP and machine learning, managing teams and client projects. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Google, Calvin is engaged in low latency machine learning applications on a global scale.
