Carl Saroufim

Carl Saroufim is currently a Senior Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Google, focusing on Document AI and specialized models for legal and financial document understanding. They previously held positions as a Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft, where they developed machine learning solutions and text analytics models, and served as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they conducted data science research on predictive maintenance algorithms. Carl also held a leadership role as Saclay President at Ecole Centrale Paris and gained consulting experience with Strategy& during a summer internship. They hold a Master of Science in Operations Research from MIT and a Master of Science in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris.
