Carly Rush is an accomplished Senior User Experience Research Manager at Google, with a focus on Search, since June 2022. Prior to this role, Carly held various positions at Meta from April 2017 to June 2022, including Head of Research for Facebook Creators and News & Social Responsibility Ecosystems. Earlier experience includes managing research programs at Brookdale, where Carly developed the first customer and employee experience research initiatives, and led nationwide studies in senior living communities. Carly's career began as a Survey Research Analyst at the Strategic National Arts Alumni Project and later as a Lab Manager for the NSF Career Project. Carly holds a PhD and MA in Sociology from Vanderbilt University, along with a BA from UC Santa Barbara.
