Casey Oakes

Casey Oakes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in diversity and inclusion, particularly within the LGBT community. As a Constituent Advocate for the Office of United States Senator Frank R. Lautenberg, Casey served as a key liaison to the New Jersey LGBT community and managed various issue areas, including immigration and education. At Marriott International, Casey held the position of Director of Global Supplier Diversity, leading initiatives that achieved significant growth in diverse spending and earned national recognition for the company's supplier diversity program. Later, at the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, Casey advanced to Vice President, Corporate Relations, where strategic partnerships and relationship management were prioritized to enhance corporate diversity initiatives. Most recently, Casey held leadership roles at Google, focusing on community impact and supplier inclusion and sustainability.
