Chad Norvell, PE, is a civil engineer turned senior software engineer, currently developing next-generation operating systems at Google. With a diverse background spanning multiple countries, they founded Inka Software, Inc. to create high-performance engineering analysis software and have a history of consulting on disaster resilience projects with UNDP. Chad led the development of IoT technologies at Angaza, significantly improving access to clean energy in emerging markets. Their early career included innovative work with NASA on life support systems for the International Space Station and developing affordable housing solutions in India. Chad continues their education in civil engineering at Portland State University.
