Chad Zhang has extensive experience in engineering and technical program management, having held key positions at several leading technology companies. At Netflix, from June 2010 to May 2014, Chad led the development and launch of the Netflix App for various platforms, including Android and Kindle Fire. Previously, from July 2003 to June 2010 at TiVo, Chad managed software teams that enhanced the TiVo experience for Virgin Media and Comcast. Following this, Chad worked at Google from June 2014 to October 2020, serving in multiple director roles where responsibilities included overseeing program management for the Google Play Store and leading efforts related to foundational development tools and infrastructure. Chad started the professional journey as a Software Design Engineer at PMC-Sierra. Chad holds a Master of Science degree in Computational Science from UC Santa Barbara.
