Chandan Giri has extensive experience in engineering leadership, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Google since August 2015, where leadership extends to over 100 team members across two revenue-critical teams: Conversion Mining, focused on generating significant incremental revenue through enhanced Google Ads conversions, and Privacy Sandbox, addressing the challenges posed by the deprecation of third-party cookies. Prior to Google, Chandan worked as a Rocket Scientist at Rocket Fuel Inc. from October 2012 to July 2015, specializing in ad serving infrastructure, and completed a software engineering internship at Microsoft in May 2011. Chandan holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, obtained in 2012.
