Changcheng Xiao is a software engineer with extensive experience in query understanding and large language model (LLM) platforms. Changcheng Xiao began a professional journey at Microsoft Research Asia as a research intern from June 2014 to June 2015, focusing on multimedia search and mining. Following this, a position as a software engineer at IBM was held briefly in April to August 2016. From November 2016 to September 2022, Changcheng Xiao contributed significantly as a software engineer and later as a senior software engineer at Google, where leadership of Google's LLM platform for shopping query understanding models was undertaken. Changcheng Xiao's academic background includes dual master's degrees in computer science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, following a bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution. Currently, Changcheng Xiao continues to lead efforts at Google in this domain since May 2024.
