Chao Dai

Chao Dai is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and DevOps practices. From May 2017 to November 2017, Chao worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer, where responsibilities included migrating code to VSTS Git and implementing CI solutions using VSTS and Jenkins. Subsequently, Chao held the position of Software Engineer II, managing the CI and release processes for Microsoft Whiteboard UWP and iOS apps. Chao's career includes positions as a Research Scientist at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and roles in various capacities at Google from November 2018 to the present, focusing on Kubernetes contributions and maintaining CI systems. Earlier experience includes internships and roles at Intentional Software Corporation and the University of Virginia. Chao holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Wuhan University, a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Wuhan University.
