Chao Qin

Chao Qin has extensive experience in research and software engineering, beginning as a Research/Teaching Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from August 2003 to July 2005, followed by a Research Assistant role at Oregon Health & Science University until July 2007. Chao continued academic pursuits as a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Edinburgh before obtaining a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Merced in 2011, where research and teaching assistant positions were held. Since then, Chao has been employed at ShareThis as a Research Scientist since August 2011, while also serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Yahoo since September 2013 and as a Staff Software Engineer at Google since December 2017.
