Charilaos Eftaxiopoulos

Charilaos Eftaxiopoulos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network planning and optimization. From September 2010 to August 2011, Charilaos worked as a Network Planner at BSkyB, focusing on automating network capacity planning. Following this, Charilaos held several key positions at Google from August 2018 to August 2020, including Staff TPM for Edge Infrastructure Optimization, where Charilaos identified inefficiencies and enhanced network TCO and business strategies. As Sr. Staff TPM in Network Planning and Design, Charilaos led a global team responsible for the strategic design of Google's production network, supporting major services such as Machine Learning and Cloud operations. Additionally, Charilaos contributed to AI Infrastructure Planning at Uber, making investment decisions for compute and network needs. Charilaos also developed frameworks for data-driven decision making in global network acquisitions. Educationally, Charilaos holds an MSc in Networked Computer Systems from UCL and a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras.
