Charles Yen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cloud computing and sales management. Beginning a career at Unisys, Charles contributed as a Sales Manager in the Global Financial Industry and as a Consultant on the Octopus Smart Card Project. At IBM, from April 2003 to December 2006, Charles held various leadership roles, including Head of Cloud Platform in Greater China, where a new cloud organization was established to drive IaaS and PaaS consumption. Following this, Charles worked as Regional Vice President of Platform Sales at Salesforce, focusing on digital transformation in Asia and India. Most recently, in 2022, Charles served as Industry Head and Head of Partners & Alliances for Google Cloud in North Asia, emphasizing the development of the Cloud Partner Ecosystem. Charles holds an Hon. Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Data Management, and Economics from the University of Toronto.
