Chelsey Fleming, PhD, has a diverse background in academia and user experience research. With a PhD in Archaeology from the University of California, Los Angeles, Chelsey served as a Lecturer and Teaching Fellow from September 2011 to June 2016 and also held a position as a Lecturer in Art History at Loyola Marymount University for a brief period in 2014. In addition to academic roles, Chelsey worked as an Archaeologist Researcher at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, focusing on the Sybaritic colony of Laos through GIS mapping and analysis. Transitioning to the tech industry, Chelsey has held various research and leadership positions, including User Researcher at Activision and multiple roles at Google, such as UX Research Lead and Staff UX Researcher in generative media and AIUX.
