Chen-Hsi Huang

Chen-Hsi Huang is an experienced machine learning engineer with a strong background in materials science and engineering. Chen-Hsi has worked at KLA as an Algorithm Engineer, focusing on deep learning models to enhance defect detection and developing machine learning pipelines. Prior to KLA, Chen-Hsi served as a Data Scientist at CLARA Analytics, where machine learning models were built to predict insurance claims costs. Chen-Hsi also gained research experience at UCLA, contributing to Monte Carlo simulation studies and teaching engineering courses. Additionally, Chen-Hsi achieved recognition as a Kaggle Master, winning various medals in competitive data science challenges. Currently, Chen-Hsi is employed at Google as a Machine Learning Software Engineer specializing in natural language understanding. Chen-Hsi holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from UCLA and multiple nanodegrees in machine learning and artificial intelligence from Udacity.
