Cheng-Hsi Lin

Cheng-Hsi Lin is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in materials science and engineering. Cheng-Hsi has previously worked at TSMC as a Research and Development Engineer Summer Intern, where a new dishing metrology system for Cu CMP post monitoring was built, and defect data was visualized to enhance product yield rate. Following this, Cheng-Hsi gained experience at Samsung Electronics from May 2017 to April 2020, developing a large-scale simulation software tool for computational geometry in C++, achieving a tripling of runtime performance through an innovative cache system. Since April 2020, Cheng-Hsi has been contributing to Google, focusing on platforms compute performance. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from National Taiwan University, both with a GPA of 3.7/4.0.
