Cheng Zhang

Cheng Zhang is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in software testing, debugging, and program analysis. Currently employed at Google since March 2016, Cheng previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Waterloo, where innovative techniques for regression testing and bug detection were developed. Prior roles include Postdoc Research Assistant at USI Università della Svizzera italiana, focusing on integration test suite generation, and a PhD student at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where significant contributions were made to program analysis and tool development. Cheng's early career includes internships at MSRA and a position at IBM, where projects revolved around debugging support and Web 2.0 technologies, respectively. Educational credentials include a Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Computer Software Engineering, all obtained from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
