Chenting (Summer) Zhao is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in prominent roles at Google and IBM. At Google from December 2016 to May 2023, Chenting served as a Staff Software Engineer focusing on Gmail Ads and the Promotion Tab, along with roles in Gmail Ads Quality as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. Prior to Google, Chenting worked at IBM from May 2009 to June 2015 as an Advisory Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer, specializing in big data, data mining, machine learning, and natural language processing. Chenting also briefly collaborated with Pivotal Labs in 2014 on open-source projects related to Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Chenting holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Technology from Xidian University.
