Chia-Hsi Chang

Chia-Hsi (Jesse) Chang is a seasoned power electronics engineer with over 10 years of experience in power supply development, specializing in various applications including plasma power generators, EV battery chargers, and solar inverters. They currently work at Google as a power electronics engineer and previously served as a manager at Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. and an assistant manager at 台達電子, where they were involved in the system design of high-power-level EV charging stations. Chia-Hsi studied at National Taiwan University, earning both MS and PhD degrees in Power Electronics and Renewable Energy, and was also a visiting scholar at Virginia Tech focusing on soft-switching photovoltaic inverters and wireless charging systems. Their career includes significant roles at LITE-ON and a summer internship at Nissan Motor Corporation, where they designed an on-board charger for the Nissan Leaf.
