Chirag Shah

Chirag Shah is a Contract Mechanical Engineer at Google since November 2018, specializing in the design and development of optomechanical test systems for Augmented Reality Waveguides. Prior to this role, Chirag served as a Research Engineer at Oregon State University from March 2016 to September 2018, where responsibilities included developing a SolidWorks CAD tool for investment casting design modifications, and also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Mechanical Component Design course. Earlier experience includes a position as a Mechanical Engineer at Zenn Systems, focusing on the development of lightweight robotic manipulators for pick and place operations. Chirag holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechatronics from Ganpat University.
