Chris Betz

Chris Betz is an experienced security leader with a robust background in cybersecurity across various prominent organizations. Notably, Chris held the position of SVP & Chief Security Officer at Lumen Technologies, overseeing global cyber and physical security efforts. At Microsoft, Chris served as Senior Director of the Microsoft Security Response Center, managing global security responses to software vulnerabilities. Chris's previous roles include Vice President of Information Security at CBS Corporation, CISO at Capital One, and leading security at Apple. Recently, Chris is set to join Google as VP of Infrastructure Security in June 2025. Chris's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy.
