Chris Wilson has extensive experience in web standards and technology, currently serving as an Executive Committee Member for Ecma International and as a long-standing member of the W3C Board of Directors since July 2013, where roles include Co-chair of both the Immersive Web Working Group and the Web Incubation Community Group. At Google since November 2010, Chris has held positions such as Web Standards Tech Lead and Product Manager, focusing on web standards engagement and the Web XR Device API for AR and VR. Previous experience includes significant roles at Microsoft, including Principal Program Manager and Lead Program Manager for Internet Explorer's web platform, as well as contributions to early web technologies at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications and SPRY, Inc. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
