Christophe Jacquet

Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering

Christophe Jacquet has a diverse background in computer science and engineering, with experience spanning academia and industry. Beginning as an intern at CERN in 2002, Christophe contributed to the European Datagrid project focused on storage and processing solutions for the LHC. An associate professor at Supélec from 2003 to 2014, Christophe taught various subjects including programming languages and algorithms, computer architecture, and human-computer interaction. In 2014, Christophe joined Google as a software engineer in Site Reliability Engineering, supporting user connections across multiple continents. Early research experience included a design internship at LIMSI CNRS, which involved developing algorithms and software architecture for assistive technologies for visually impaired individuals. Educational qualifications include a master’s and PhD in computer science from Paris-Sud University, along with an engineer's degree from Supélec.
