Christopher Gerstl

Christopher Gerstl is an experienced leader in LGBTI advocacy and organizational management. As the Executive Director of Lesben- und Schwulenverband (LSVD) from January 2021 to October 2024, Christopher co-led the Berlin-Brandenburg branch, managing a diverse team and overseeing multiple projects focused on family support, diversity in sports, sexuality education, and aid for LGBTI refugees. Christopher successfully developed political lobbying strategies, serving as the main spokesperson while also increasing funding significantly. Notably, Christopher established the first queer youth center in 2023 and launched a Sheltered Housing Project. Prior experience includes serving as Project Coordinator, where Christopher managed public relations and developed a comprehensive archive of LGBTI rights history. Currently, Christopher holds the position of Associate Account Manager at Google, following a degree from Freie Universität Berlin with a notable GPA of 1.2, completed in 2023.
