Ciara (Kiki) Salmon is a User Experience Researcher currently working at Google, where they focus on accessibility research and qualitative methods. With a background in cognitive science and occupational therapy, Kiki has developed expertise in user interviews, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing. They have played a pivotal role in integrating accessibility into product design across multiple Google teams and have trained fellow researchers in accessibility-focused practices. Kiki also co-chairs the COGA Community Group at W3C, advocating for cognitive and learning disabilities accessibility. They hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Samuel Merritt University and a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
