Cindy Zou is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Cindy held roles at Amazon as a Software Development Manager for Alexa Shopping, overseeing projects in both Identity and Trust as well as general shopping functionality from January 2020 to June 2022. Prior to Amazon, Cindy was a Principal Software Engineer and Tech Lead for Skype Infrastructure, as well as a Senior Software Engineer between January 2016 and September 2017. Cindy began a career in engineering at Microsoft, contributing as a Software Development Engineer for Bing from October 2008 to November 2012, and served as a Research Assistant at DePaul University's Applied Requirements Engineering Lab from September 2004 to September 2008. Currently, Cindy is a Senior Engineering Manager at Google Cloud since June 2022. Cindy holds a PhD in Computer Science from DePaul University.
