Clara Thornton

Clara Thornton possesses extensive experience in legal and product safety roles within prominent organizations. Serving as the Director of Product Safety at Competition and Consumer from November 2019 to April 2023, Clara then transitioned to Google in April 2023 as Strategy Counsel. Prior legal expertise includes positions as Senior Legal Advisor and Acting Director of Legal Services and General Counsel at the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission from February 2016 to January 2019, as well as Associate Solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from August 2011 to December 2015.
