Colman Madden

Colman Madden is an experienced technology professional currently serving as the Head of Customer Engineering for Hedge Funds at Google since June 2018, leading a team focused on delivering cloud solutions to major clients in the financial sector. Prior to this role, Colman held positions including Principal Architect and Customer Engineer within Google’s Capital Markets team, emphasizing cloud strategy and data solutions for hedge funds and asset management. Colman’s earlier experience includes roles as Solution Architect and Senior Data Engineer at MapR Technologies, where responsibilities involved designing big data systems and overseeing international projects in various industries. Additional experience includes data engineering and technical analysis roles at Tatts Group and software engineering positions at Accenture and BT Ireland. Colman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications from the University of Limerick.
