Cory Slep has a diverse background in music direction and software engineering, beginning with a role as Chainsaw Music Director at 88.1 WKNC from May 2011 to March 2012, where responsibilities included weekly music selection and adherence to station policies. Slep then served as a Junior Software Developer at ARA from May 2013 to October 2015, focusing on integrating and validating engineering simulation codes, along with writing technical documentation for defense clients. A Software Engineering Intern position at Cisco Systems in the summer of 2012 involved the Agile development method and the development of a Model-View-Controller framework. Slep's current role as a Software Engineer at Google commenced in October 2015, first in Irvine, CA, under Ads and now in Zurich for Geo. Educationally, Slep holds a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, completed in 2013, and a High School Diploma from Providence Day School, earned in 2009.
