Cosmin Arad

Cosmin Arad is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where they work on the Cloud Dataflow Streaming Engine and related distributed data processing infrastructure. They previously held positions as a Teaching Assistant at Politehnica University of Bucharest and a Researcher at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science, focusing on distributed systems and scalable storage. Cosmin completed a PhD in Distributed Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has also interned at Microsoft Research and Google. Their educational background includes an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and an exchange program at the National University of Singapore.
