Dan Pan

Dan Pan is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector, beginning with an internship at Microsoft Research Asia in 2005 and including roles at companies such as Microsoft, SDL, Paxata, and Google. At Microsoft, Dan contributed to the development of an incubation project for Windows Azure, as well as Exchange Server and Office for Mac/iPad. Experience at SDL involved creating a social media data analysis platform, while at Paxata, Dan focused on backend development for a big data cleansing platform. Recent work at Google has centered on YouTube Ads and machine learning. Dan holds a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Zhejiang University.
