Dan Pritchett

Dan Pritchett has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, holding positions such as Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer at Google since June 2012. Pritchett served as CTO at Rearden Commerce and The Sphere Information Services, Inc., where contributions included significant company growth and focus on internet application development. Previous roles encompass a Technical Fellow position at eBay, a Senior Staff Engineer at Silicon Graphics, and a Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems, where major development projects included project DOE components and the CDE mail application. Pritchett began a career in software engineering at ESL, developing geographic components and libraries based on USGS algorithms, and briefly served as CEO at Pritchett Solutions, Inc. in 2001.
