Dan Z. is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in firmware and software development across leading technology companies. Currently employed at Google since July 2023, Dan previously contributed to Meta as a software engineer focusing on AI/ML and firmware solutions. Dan's earlier roles include a staff firmware engineer position at Samsung Electronics America, where notable achievements included the development of innovative firmware for enterprise NVMe SSDs and the implementation of the NVME-MI stack. Dan has also held significant engineering roles at Emerson, Avocent, and Motorola Mobility, consistently leading projects related to firmware and system engineering. Dan holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University.
