Daniel Cook

Daniel Cook possesses a strong background in bioinformatics and research, holding a B.S. in Biology from the University of Iowa and an advanced degree in Biology with a focus on Genomics from Northwestern University. Experience includes roles as a Graduate Student at Northwestern University, where significant research on telomere length variation in C. elegans was conducted. As a Principal Research Fellow at The Francis Crick Institute, Daniel advanced bioinformatics initiatives while prior roles included contributions as a Scientific Developer at VectorBase and a Bioinformatics Intern at Tempus, Inc. Additional experience encompasses a Research Assistant position at the University of Chicago and utilizing supercomputing resources at the University of Iowa to analyze maternal-fetal gene interactions. Daniel has also worked at Google as a Software Engineer and AI Resident specializing in health-related applications.
