Daniel Gargas has a robust background in nuclear engineering and program management, with significant experience in both military and civilian sectors. As a Skills Leading Petty Officer in the US Navy from August 2013 to October 2014, Daniel supervised over 50 personnel, managed a manning budget exceeding $2,000,000, and oversaw nuclear maintenance operations. Additional roles included providing supervision for engineering watch standers and coordinating maintenance for the Reactor Mechanical Division aboard USS Enterprise. Currently serving as a Technical Program Manager at Google since March 2024, Daniel focuses on maintenance of critical electric and mechanical systems while also engaging in community outreach and mentorship.
