Daniel Newman is a DC-based UX Lead for Google Search, currently focused on designing the future of Search with an emphasis on content, creator, and business ecosystems. They began their journey at Google by helping to establish the Google News team in Washington, DC. Prior to Google, Daniel served as the Director of Product Design at NPR, where they led significant design initiatives across various digital platforms. Their career also includes extensive experience at Wolfram Research, managing user experience design and collaborating with Fortune 100 companies, as well as significant leadership roles in information architecture and product design conferences. Daniel holds dual degrees in Advertising and Sociology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
